چکیده
Abstract The aim of the research was to utilize textile waste by adding upholstery fabric fibers with different content (0, 5, 10, and 20% weight referred dry wood fibers) high density fiberboards (HDF) analyze selected physical mechanical properties obtained boards. Tests (modulus elasticity in bending strength, surface soundness, internal bond, screw withdrawal resistance) (density profile, swelling thickness after immersion water, water absorption) were performed. results show that increasing HDF panels has strongest negative influence on properties, especially resistance. Modulus modulus rupture also decreased, but still fulfilled requirements European standards. No significant rising absorption been found. It can be concluded that, depending further application HDF, it is possible recovered as a reasonable addition when producing panels. step toward carbon storage extension, which fixed fibers.

Wash Fastness of Textile Fibers Dyed with Natural Dye from Eucalyptus Wood Steaming Waste
Natural dyes are gaining interest due their expected low risk to human health and to the environment. In this study, the wash fastness of a natural coloring matter from the liquid waste produced in the steam treatment of eucalyptus wood in textile fabrics was investigated. Specifically, eucalyptus wood extract was used to dye cotton, nylon and wool in an exhaust dyeing process without the addit...

High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)-based composites with alkaline copper quaternary (ACQ)and micronized copper quaternary (MCQ)treated wood fibers were manufactured through injection molding. The mechanical properties, water absorption, and biological resistance properties of the fabricated composites with different coupling treatments were investigated. Composites with ACQand MCQ-treated wood ha...
متن کاملCombustion of Solid Waste from Wood-Based Ethanol Production
The solid residue from wood-based ethanol production has a low ash content and high heating value, making it interesting for combustion applications, e.g. small-scale appliances and gas turbines. Combustion and gasification properties have been studied using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential thermal analysis (DTA). Char combustion rate data obtained could be used in combustion s...
متن کاملSolid Waste Management in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam: Moving towards a Circular Economy?
The paper presents the current situation of the waste management system of the megacity Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, and the options for waste and land recycling in a low income country. Generally, there is a large potential for circular economy in the city as the main proportion of the waste flows are recyclables. Due to the missing selective collection system, this potential is not used in the ful...
